Dental crowns are now a common replacement for missing teeth or it is a process where we place a new crown on top of the tooth and create an artificial tooth.

We place the crown, either on part of the original tooth, or on a dental implant (artificially created). With the help of a crown, we create a beautiful and fully functional tooth.

At our clinic you have a choice of:

  • metal-ceramic crowns,
  • ceramic crowns,
  • zircon crowns.

When is a replacement in the form of a dental crown suitable?

  • if the tooth is significantly broken off or damaged,
  • with frequent fillings of the tooth, it may happen that only a very small amount of the right tooth remains,
  • as a final step after endodontics (after root canal treatment),
  • in case of congenital defects, such as lack of dentite (tooth surface),
  • and in other cases.

Treatment Process

1. Initial consultation
During the consultation, we will come to an agreement and together we will choose the shade and shape of the crown that will suit you best.

2. Placement of the temporary crown
First, we treat and grind the tooth. We will then make a temporary crown that replaces the permanent one for a certain period of time. Meanwhile, at HAPPYDENT LAB, our specialists will make a permanent crown.

3. Fitting a permanent crown
After about a week, you will come back to our clinic so that we can fit the permanent, final crown. Our dentists will also inform you about proper care.
